In the past, the Pride Center of Staten Island and Historic Richmond Town teamed up to create a unique “yarn bomb” at the Historic Richmond Town campus. Long granny squares of Pride flag and Transgender flag colors were knitted or crocheted by volunteers and affixed to the streetlamps along Center Street. These flags have been turned into blankets for the center and will be presented to our SAGE participants at this event. Crafts and refreshments will be provided.
